Ahhh...

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21

Have you ever gotten done with a meal - a really good meal, perhaps your favorite - complete with dessert, and at the end you're not overstuffed, yet you're completely satisfied? A small, content sigh escapes your lips - aaahhh...that's how I've been feeling lately.

I used to look at this verse and think, "how selfish to think that I deserve or could receive more than I could ask for or think of." I was overlooking an important phrase - according to the power at work within us. Only by the Holy Spirit my requests, hopes, passions, and dreams are realized. All of it is for HIS glory!


This has been the theme of my life the past couple weeks. To quote my friend, Stephanie, "God bless your ministries." Well, He has definitely blessed my ministries...
