GO TIGERS!!

I know its only January - but I can't wait for baseball season to start again! I don't have to wait too long though - I'll be going to a Spring Training game in March! This past weekend Dad and I went to Detroit for TigerFest. They had Comerica park sectioned off and heated a little bit - they had autograph areas, tours, the ALCS trophy on display and lots of souvenirs for sale.

The day before an ice storm had hit the majority of southern Michigan and the drive there was absolutely gorgeous! This picture doesn't do justice, but you get the idea....

I had quite the adventure this past weekend in Nebraska, visiting Mari & David! From obnoxious drunk guys on the airplane to ride-a-longs in a police car with David to eating Cajun food dumped out on the table, I'd say I had quite the experience! Plus, it's always an amazing time catching up with friends I haven't seen in a while. It was FREEZING there - I don't think it got past 10 degrees!! But, I did get to see some snow!! If anyone ever has a desire to visit Nebraska, Mari is the world's best hostess - I had amazing sheets to sleep on, she cooked for me, made me coffee, and even let me use their "indoor hot-tub"!

David took us shooting on Sunday afternoon - don't I look intimidating?? I could have put the picture up of the mouse we used for target practice, but thought that was a little too gross :)

I'm still thinking of names for the "girl" Mari will be having in May (I'm convinced that's what your baby will be!) - now that I'm back at work, I have lots of inspiration....how about Donnisia or Samadhi?? ;)
